Food is not just nourishment, it is comfort, connection, and dignity. At Hadhreen, we recognize the profound impact that a shared meal can have during times of hardship. That’s why our Food Support Program stands at the heart of our humanitarian mission. Through its diverse, year-round initiatives, the program provides consistent nutritional support to individuals and communities in need, honoring both cultural values and human dignity.
Throughout the holy month, we organize daily Iftar meals for fasting individuals, prioritizing the most vulnerable, whether in care homes, hospitals, or struggling neighborhoods. These meals create moments of relief and unity at the end of long, trying days.
Each year, donors entrust Hadhreen with their sacrificial animals, which are then processed and distributed to families in need, in accordance with Islamic values. This initiative spreads joy, nutrition, and solidarity during one of the most spiritually significant seasons.
Recognizing the ongoing nutritional needs of families throughout the year, Hadhreen also facilitates the distribution of meat from donated livestock outside of Eid season, helping to bridge gaps in protein intake for low-income households.
Hadhreen organized the distribution of food items and grocery staples to critical institutions and underserved families. These distributions were made possible through:
– Partnerships with private sector donors
– Support from individual contributors and long-standing backers of Hadhreen
Key Beneficiaries Included:
– Public Hospitals, where we supported kitchens serving medical staff, patients, and caregivers – Government-Run Care Homes, housing orphans, the elderly, and other at-risk groups
– Struggling Families, who often face hardship without visibility or support

The Feeding Program embodies the core values of Hadhreen, generosity, community, and human dignity. It matters because:
– It ensures that no table is left empty, especially during times of national crisis
– It connects donors directly with impact, turning compassion into tangible sustenance
– It provides stability for families, institutions, and front-line facilities under stress
– It preserves the spirit of cultural and religious observance, even during emergencies

With the eruption of war on April 15, 2023, Hadhreen immediately restructured its food activities to meet the growing and urgent needs of conflict-affected families.
All food-related operations were integrated into the emergency relief umbrella of the “You Are Not Alone” campaign, extending meal provision to:
– Displaced individuals
– Families trapped in conflict zones
– Shelter residents and orphanages
